Summit Pavers are fired at high temperatures—around 1,200°F—resulting in exceptional density, greater resistance to bending, enhanced impact strength, and an increased ability to withstand sudden temperature changes.

Due to their exceptional density and extremely low water absorption, Summit Pavers™ porcelain pavers are highly resistant to cracking and generally do not require sealing, unlike many natural stone products.

Summit Pavers™ are designed for long-lasting beauty. Their color is fused throughout the material during high-temperature manufacturing, making them highly fade-resistant — even with prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV rays, the vibrant tones remain consistent over time.

Like any outdoor surface, they can warm up in direct sun, especially in darker colors, but their dense, low-absorption structure helps them stay cooler than many traditional paving materials. Lighter colors and textured finishes will feel even more comfortable underfoot in sunny conditions.

Maintenance is simple and low-effort. Regular sweeping and occasional washing with water or a mild detergent are usually enough to keep them looking pristine. Thanks to their dense, non-porous surface, Summit Pavers™ resist mold, mildew, stains, and moss, and they generally do not require sealing. Their durable finish also helps retain color and texture, even in heavy foot traffic or outdoor conditions.
